These Terms apply to the BioMacLab public website and to enquiries submitted through website features such as Contact, Training, research-service, collaboration, and internship enquiry pathways.

Using the public website means you agree to use it lawfully and not to interfere with its security, availability, accounts, forms, or administrative functions. Submitting an enquiry does not itself create a paid service contract, research partnership, employment relationship, internship placement, institutional agreement, or guaranteed training seat.

BioMacLab’s final contracting legal entity, legal headquarters, governing law, dispute forum, and jurisdiction-specific commercial terms have not been established in the current website project. Those matters require owner/legal confirmation before this page should be treated as a complete standalone contract.

BioMacLab currently presents eight verified standalone service areas: Comparative Genomic Analysis, Metagenomics Data Analysis, RNA-Seq Analysis, Cancer Genomics Data Analysis, Drug Design with Machine Learning Integration, Peptide Design and Peptide-Based Drug Discovery, Machine Learning-Based Protein-Protein Interaction Prediction, and NGS Data Analysis.

A public service page or contact message is descriptive and does not guarantee that a particular dataset, method, output, deadline, or project will be accepted. Feasibility depends on the scientific question, data readiness, scope, method requirements, team availability, and any ethical or contractual constraints that apply.

• Project scoping: Before substantive work begins, the parties should confirm the research question, available inputs, expected outputs, responsibilities, material assumptions, and any important timing constraints.
• Methods and software: Tools, databases, models, parameters, and quality-control steps are selected according to the specific project. The public website does not promise a fixed software stack, owned HPC environment, FAIR certification, or bitwise reproducibility for every engagement.
• Deliverables: Any reports, tables, figures, code, files, documentation, or interpretation to be delivered should be identified in the project-specific scope rather than assumed from this general page.
• Timing and price: No fixed turnaround time, service-level agreement, or universal price is created by the website. Timing and fees, if applicable, must be confirmed for the particular engagement.

The current public BioMacLab website does not provide a general FASTQ, FASTA, BAM, VCF, clinical-record, or genomic dataset upload endpoint. Public forms are for high-level project descriptions and must not be used to transmit patient-identifiable information, credentials, confidential datasets, or regulated biomedical data.

If a project later requires research-data transfer, the parties should agree an appropriate transfer method and confirm who is authorized to provide the data, any consent or ethics restrictions, permitted uses, confidentiality requirements, and relevant retention or deletion expectations before files are exchanged.

• Authority to provide data: A person submitting or arranging project data should have the right and authority to do so and should communicate relevant use restrictions to BioMacLab.
• Sensitive information: Do not send sensitive or controlled data through the general website forms. A separate approved process is required if a future project legitimately needs such data.

BioMacLab intends project discussions to be handled responsibly, but this public Terms page does not itself create a blanket non-disclosure agreement or promise a particular research-data security architecture.

Where a proposed project involves unpublished, proprietary, commercially sensitive, or otherwise confidential information, the parties should identify the confidentiality requirements before sensitive material is shared.

• NDA requests: A bilateral or institutional NDA can be discussed where appropriate, but it is effective only if actually reviewed and executed by the relevant parties.
• Data transfer: Any project-specific transfer protocol, storage location, access model, retention period, or deletion requirement should be recorded in the applicable project agreement or written scope.
• Public website: Do not assume that the general Contact form, email exchange, or a public service page constitutes an NDA, DTA, security schedule, or confidentiality addendum.

Ownership and reuse rights depend on the source of the material and the terms of the specific engagement. This public page does not transfer ownership of third-party publications, software, databases, journal content, trademarks, or external resources linked from the website.

For project work, ownership of supplied data, newly created custom outputs, reusable analysis code, methods, and other intellectual property should be agreed in writing where the distinction matters. Academic authorship should reflect actual scholarly contribution and applicable publication policies rather than being guaranteed or automatically waived by this website.

• Third-party materials: External publications, software, databases, images, DOI records, and linked resources remain subject to their original licences and rights.
• Website materials: BioMacLab branding and original website materials may be protected by applicable intellectual-property rights and should not be misrepresented as another organization’s work.

BioMacLab has verified training records covering comparative genomics, Bulk RNA-Seq, metagenomics, single-cell genomics, pangenome analysis, microbiome data analysis, and a website-listed Python For BioInformatics programme whose detailed schedule remains to be confirmed.

Training dates, delivery mode, instructors, fees, registration deadlines, certificates, internship opportunities, recordings, materials, seat limits, and eligibility are programme-specific. Benefits or conditions published for one training must not be assumed to apply to every programme.

• Registration: A seat or participation is confirmed only through the registration/acceptance process applicable to that specific programme. Historical registration forms may no longer be open.
• Fees and refunds: Published historical fees are specific to the relevant programme. No universal refund or cancellation rule is established by this page; the applicable terms should be communicated with the specific registration.
• Certificates: Some verified programmes advertised an e-certificate or certificate subject to stated conditions. No certificate is promised for a training unless that programme explicitly provides one.
• Materials: Course recordings, slides, datasets, tutorials, code, and other materials may have programme-specific access and reuse conditions. Do not redistribute restricted materials without permission.

BioMacLab has published specific training announcements that included selected-participant internship or project opportunities, and the Contact page supports internship enquiries. That history does not mean an internship is continuously available to every applicant.

Any current internship, mentorship, project placement, supervision arrangement, duration, workload, authorship expectation, confidentiality obligation, stipend or unpaid status, certificate, or deliverable must be confirmed for the specific opportunity before participation begins.

• Selection: Submitting an enquiry or application does not guarantee admission, placement, supervision, project assignment, or future employment.
• Research conduct: Participants should follow the project’s documented data, confidentiality, attribution, code, and research-integrity requirements.

BioMacLab website content, research descriptions, training materials, computational outputs, predictive models, genomic annotations, antimicrobial-resistance analyses, peptide-screening results, and similar scientific information are not a substitute for qualified medical, veterinary, diagnostic, regulatory, or treatment advice.

Anyone using research outputs remains responsible for appropriate scientific interpretation, experimental validation, ethical approval, regulatory review, and professional decision-making required in their own setting.

Bioinformatics, machine learning, genomics, and biological interpretation involve data-quality limits, model assumptions, software limitations, database changes, sampling effects, and scientific uncertainty. The website therefore does not guarantee that any described method, service, training, or research approach will produce a particular scientific, commercial, publication, clinical, or academic outcome.

The earlier prototype included a broad liability exclusion and a fee-based liability cap. Those clauses are not presented as final legal terms in P15 because the responsible contracting entity, governing law, enforceability requirements, and approved commercial contract have not yet been confirmed.

For any accepted paid or collaborative engagement, warranties, remedies, responsibility allocation, indemnities, liability limitations, and insurance requirements should be documented in the agreement that governs that specific engagement and reviewed where necessary by qualified legal counsel.

• Website availability: The website may be corrected, updated, interrupted, or changed without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability or permanent access to every feature.
• External resources: BioMacLab does not control the availability, accuracy, licensing, privacy practices, or security of third-party websites and resources linked from the site.

The current website project does not yet establish a final BioMacLab contracting legal entity, registered office, governing law, exclusive jurisdiction, arbitration clause, or cross-border dispute forum. Team members’ academic or residential locations must not be treated as establishing those legal facts.

If an accepted service, training, collaboration, internship, or institutional engagement requires binding legal terms, the governing law, dispute process, notices, contracting parties, and signature authority should be stated in the applicable written agreement.

BioMacLab may revise these website Terms as the platform, services, training programmes, data practices, legal identity, or operating processes change. The effective date, review date, and revision number at the top of the page identify the current published version.

• Questions: Contact BioMacLab before relying on these general website Terms for an institutional, funded, regulated, or commercially material engagement.
• Conflict with specific agreement: Where a valid signed or otherwise accepted project-specific agreement contains different terms, that specific agreement should control to the extent stated in it.
